Karen Karki has nearly twenty years of experience as a professional photographer. Her love of photography began in childhood when she took pictures of friends and family with a kids’ camera that used 110 film cartridges. She traded in the little blue camera for a real film camera in high school and then traveled the world taking pictures as an art major in college.

She started Karen Karki Photography in 2006. In the years since, she has captured precious memories and special moments for countless marrying couples, graduating seniors, and families.

A good photographer should make you feel safe, loved, and beautiful.

Karen believes that photography should make people feel included, valued, special, and loved--and that it should be as stress-free as possible! Whether you are graduating from high school, getting married, welcoming a new baby, or celebrating a special experience with the people you love, Karen can make the moment last through pictures you will treasure for a lifetime.

Karen is a mom, wife, sister, friend, daughter, and aunt. She loves her family, traveling, trying new foods, learning about other cultures, and studying languages on DuoLingo. She is also a great dog mom.
